Mary Chu, LCSW

Owner and Mental Health Therapist

Life can be full of unexpected challenges.

As a social worker that has worked in mental health for over 15 years as both a therapist and in administration, I've learned that there is value in all of life's transitions and lessons. I am passionate about offering a safe and non-judgmental space to help others discover how to turn life's detours into Resilient Transitions.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology  in 2008 and Master's of Social Work from the University of Arkansas in 2010. Since 2008, I have worked in the mental health field providing therapy to individuals of all ages in individual, group, ,and family settings to address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, life stressors, ADHD, ODD, grief, and relational/family stressors.

Resilient Transitions strives to provide genuine and compassionate services to not only meet you where you are at, but to also gain a better understanding of how the things you have gone through have shaped who you are and how to use those experiences to help build resilience and to keep pushing forward.

Sometimes, we all have moments where we need additional help navigating life's detours and roadblocks to find the meaning in and purpose behind the pain and disappointment we have experienced.

Trying to figure out what's next can often feel overwhelming and the thought of reaching out to others for support or help can feel intimidating or scary but I'd love to help you along your journey so that you no longer have to walk that road alone.

Congratulations on taking the first and hardest step in your journey to a better and stronger you.
